Abt Associates Welcomes New Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications Mary Maguire

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Mary F. Maguire, an award winning communicator, has joined Abt Associates as Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications. Maguire brings a breadth of senior-level communications and public relations experience to the firm.  For the last 11 years she has served as Senior Vice President and Director of Communications at AED, a Washington-based nonprofit organization working globally to improve health, education, social and economic development.

Prior to joining AED, Maguire held a senior position with public relations firm Fleishman Hillard, where her clients included major international corporations, associations, and nonprofit organizations. She previously served as Director of External Communications for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Public Relations Manager for Roy Rogers Restaurants, and as an Associate at public relations firm Porter Novelli. Maguire has a B.A. in communications from Fordham University.
