Abt Associates CEO Kathleen Flanagan Named Executive of the Year

Flanagan Wins Greater Washington Government Contractor Award

BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Abt Associates President and CEO Kathleen Flanagan has been named Executive of the Year by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council. The award recognizes a government contracting executive who made outstanding contributions to their company, the community and the government contracting industry during the past year. 

Flanagan, who was named President and CEO of Abt Associates in 2009, was recognized in the category of companies with revenues greater than $300 million.

Abt Associates has a long tradition of involvement and support of the communities in which it does business. For example, Flanagan spearheaded a drive in Abt's U.S. locations to contribute more than 1,000 units of food to local food pantries during the holidays in 2012.
