Absolute Dental donates $100,000 and voluntary clinical time to the UNLV School of Dental Medicine
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Absolute Dental has committed to a $100,000 donation and voluntary clinical time over the next five years to the UNLV Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children's Clinic. This donation and long-term partnership will help improve access to quality dental care to underserved children in the Las Vegas community.
It has been the lifelong dream of Dr. Patricia Prada, professional corporation owner and first female board-certified pediatric dentist in Nevada, to be able to give back to the children of this community.
"I became a pediatric dentist in 1993 and taught young, aspiring dentists at NYU for several years to treat children. This partnership helps get treatment to children that likely would not get care except at the UNLV Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children's Clinic. My dream has become a reality. We are looking forward for more supporters of the pediatric dental community to help better serve our underprivileged children."
The UNLV Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children's Clinic offers all facets of pediatric dental care. Individuals interested in being considered for treatment should call 702-774-2400 for more information, or visit https://www.unlv.edu/dental/clinics/.
