Abernathy MacGregor Appoints Heather Wilson as Head of its San Francisco Office; Deepens Senior Team in the Bay Area
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Abernathy MacGregor, one of the leading strategic and financial communications advisory firms in the world, today announced that it has named Managing Director Heather Wilson as head of its San Francisco office. Ms. Wilson was previously based in the firm's Los Angeles office. In her new role, she will oversee the firm's Bay Area operations, continue to advise clients and help drive growth for the firm.
Additionally, Amy Feng, most recently an Executive Vice President in Abernathy MacGregor's Los Angeles office, has joined the San Francisco office, further deepening the firm's senior expertise in the region.

Ms. Wilson has more than 20 years of corporate and media experience, having advised clients on crises, litigation, media and social media strategy and corporate transactions. She has deep experience with crisis preparation and management and has worked with some of the world's largest brands in the technology, consumer products, retail, and food/beverage industries. Ms. Wilson was previously a financial journalist.
Ms. Feng has been with the firm for eight years, joining after nearly a decade on Wall Street as a sell-side analyst for Lehman Brothers and JMP Securities. With experience in a range of industries, particularly the technology and healthcare/biotech sectors, Ms. Feng has advised clients on M&A, shareholder activist defense, capital allocation, IPOs, investor relations and financial communications.
