ABBYY to Lead Two Roundtable Sessions at AIIM Conference 2013
Company to facilitate discussions on market opportunities for new semantic technologies and enabling the digital workplace with data capture and OCR

WHAT: ABBYY®, a leading provider of document recognition, data capture and linguistic software and professional services, will facilitate two roundtable sessions on the market opportunities for next-generation information transformation technologies at this year's AIIM Conference 2013.
ABBYY's Vice President of Semantic Technology Products, Dr. Alexander Goerke, will lead a session entitled "How Semantic Technologies Enhance Document Processing and Document Management." During the roundtable, discussions will center on future implementations and deployments of semantic technologies, as well as how they enable broader contextual understanding of both structured and unstructured data. Attendees of the session will also receive insight into how various industries can leverage this innovative technology for document processing.
A separate roundtable session titled "Information Transformation: Enabling the Digital Workplace with Data Capture and OCR" will be led by ABBYY's Director of Business Development, Enterprise Group, Butch Reh. The session will address how individuals, business owners, employees, and developers can streamline and eliminate the complexity of document digitization and data extraction with data capture and optical character recognition (OCR) solutions.
WHO: Dr. Alexander Goerke, vice president of semantic technology products, and Butch Reh, director of business development, enterprise group, will lead the roundtable sessions within the Interaction track.
WHEN: AIIM Conference 2013 will take place on March 20-22, 2013. The roundtable session "Information Transformation: Enabling the Digital Workplace with Data Capture and OCR" is scheduled for Thursday, March 21 at 12 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT). The second roundtable session, entitled "How Semantic Technologies Enhance Document Processing and Document Management," is scheduled for Friday, March 22 at 10:30 a.m. CDT.
ABBYY will also sponsor the afternoon break and networking session located in the Solutions Lounge on Wednesday, March 20 at 4 p.m. CDT.
