Visitors may try new versions of Company's popular end-user applications for smartphones and tablets on-site and learn about ABBYY technological achievements in the area of mobile scanning, text recognition, language translation and video capture.
The ABBYY team will demonstrate their new Lingvo Live Social Networking Service for speakers and learners of different languages, with its client apps for iOS and Android. When connected to the Internet, the Lingo Live application allows users to look up translations of unfamiliar words and phrases in the dictionaries or ask other community members worldwide for help.
In addition, ABBYY will unveil its new ground-breaking video capture technology for mobile devices. This augmented reality technology allows users, when pointing a mobile device's camera at any printed text, to see this text directly on the screen and even get it translated into desired languages in real time – without an Internet connection. Seamless translation for 20 language pairs is supported by dictionaries created by ABBYY Language Services specifically for this project.
ABBYY representatives can be found in the Hall #6, 6D60, at the Skolkovo Foundation stand in Fira Gran Via (Barcelona, Spain).
