Abayomi Walker joins The Center for Innovative GYN Care® as nurse practitioner
Dedicated women's health care professional brings a decade of experience in gynecology and obstetrics care
WASHINGTON, Nov. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Center for Innovative GYN Care® (CIGC®) founders, Dr. Paul MacKoul, MD and Dr. Natalya Danilyants, MD, leaders in minimally invasive GYN surgical care, welcome Abayomi Walker as a nurse practitioner to the CIGC practice in Rockville, MD.
Nurse Walker will perform well-woman exams for new patients as well as assist patients who have had surgery with CIGC specialists and want a continuation of care with the Center.

Abayomi Walker is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in women's health. She has over 10 years of experience in the fields of gynecology, obstetrics and maternal child health. She has a particular interest complex gynecological disorders and is committed to empowering women through the information that will help patients make informed decisions regarding their health.
Before joining CIGC, Ms. Walker worked as a Minimally Invasive GYN Surgery Nurse Practitioner at the George Washington Medical Faculty Associates in Washington DC.
She has provided high-risk and routine obstetrical, post-partum and gynecological care at Baltimore Medical Systems, Inc., and Eleni Solos-Kountouris PC & Associates, Centreville, VA. She also provided gynecological care for women at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, Washington, DC.
Abayomi holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Religion from Bryn Mawr College.
