Marketing promotion tests for SCI's new sweeper, the EdenPURE Perfect Storm, were successful. The EdenPURE Perfect Storm will be sold by direct order, in sweeper and hardware stores and to hotel chains and institutions such as hospitals.
Projections indicate that one to two million sweepers can be sold a year which would create thousands of new sweeper manufacturing jobs at Hoover. There is the potential that eventually all 7,000 new sweeper manufacturing jobs that were lost when Hoover left could be replaced.
The successful marketing promotion included Joe Namath endorsing the EdenPURE sweeper.
