HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Abaco Systems today announced that it has appointed CoreEL Technologies as its exclusive distributor in India, effective November 1. CoreEL will market, sell and support the full range of Abaco's products, including single board computers; graphics processors; network switches; RF, DSP and FPGA products; and mission ready systems.
More than 1.3 million Indians work in the country's military/aerospace industry, which is said to be the third largest in the world. According to Global Market Insights, the industry is expected to be worth in excess of $23 billion by 2024.
Headquartered in Bangalore, CoreEL began operations in 1999. The award winning and ISO 9001-certified company designs, develops and manufactures complex, reliable and rugged systems for aerospace and defense, with applications including radar, sonar, electronic warfare and high speed analog front end and RF subsystems. CoreEL also offers a comprehensive design capability, including hardware, software, RTL/FPGA and RF modules, and is a Xilinx® Premier Partner and authorized training provider. Of its 280+ employees, more than 40 are engaged in FPGA design. Among its significant achievements is the design and delivery of the industry's first optical distribution network for radar applications.
"We identified many potential partners to represent us in India, but CoreEL offered an outstanding combination of deep industry knowledge and wide reach, excellent customer relationships, a highly professional sales, marketing and support organization and in-depth technical skills, including design, development and manufacturing," said John Muller, Chief Growth Officer at Abaco. "We look forward to working with Vishwa and his team to combine Abaco's leading products with CoreEL's knowledge and expertise to the benefit of customers in India."
"What sets us apart from other technology players and solution providers is the fostering of a distinctive client/partner-oriented culture," said Vishwanath Padur, Managing Director, CoreEL Technologies. "This culture helps in bringing innovation, out-of-the-box thinking and prioritizing client and partner satisfaction. As an indigenous supplier, we are well placed to benefit from our government's 'Make in India' program which prioritizes local content, and we expect our partnership with Abaco to substantially strengthen our position."
"What is distinctive about Abaco is the company's deep commitment to the Indian market, the 'Make in India' program and the breadth of its advanced products that are a rare combination of high performance, low power, and lower cost," he concluded.
