Belen was one of the first guests on Lick the Plate and became a fan of the concept and it's original format from the start. He had this to say about the show and sponsoring it. "As a guest on the show, LTP gave me the ability to tell my story plus talk about food, music and my favorite places to eat in Detroit and Windsor. This was very appealing and provided great exposure at the time for Bistro 82 by reaching the desirable 93.9 The River audience. David has a knack for attracting a diverse range of guests who have great stories to tell and I love that about the show. The interview itself is a loose, fun experience and that definitely comes across on-air. Lick the Plate has become an essential part of the Detroit culinary scene and I'm excited to provide the support to make it possible."
River host David Boylan added this about the Belen's involvement with the show. "It speaks volumes about the generosity and support of the overall culinary community when a restaurateur like Aaron steps up to sponsor the show. He sees the value in Lick the Plate and his financial backing will keep us on the air and enable him to reach the desirable River audience of foodies who are potential customers for his restaurants."
