AAPC Unveils New Job Center
Simplified job search provides access to tens of thousands of Health Care jobs
SALT LAKE CITY, Oct 8 /PRNewswire/ -- AAPC today announced a major update to its job center providing medical coding, billing, auditing, compliance and practice management professionals access to tens of thousands of jobs. In addition, employers can post open jobs and quickly reach more than 98,000 AAPC members and the health care community at large. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported earlier this year that health care provided 14.3 million jobs for wage and salary workers. In addition, it is expected to generate 3.2 million new health care jobs over the next eight years.
"With rapid changes in health care the demand for qualified candidates has never been greater," said Bevan Erickson, VP of Marketing for AAPC. "We've made our job center a one-stop resource for both job seekers and employers within the business side of medicine."
The user-friendly tool includes advanced search capabilities by location, job type, skills and title. In addition, the search tool includes results from Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and other health care employment sites to provide a single console to find local and national jobs. Users can access the job center.
