MONUMENT, Colo., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Advisors Asset Management (AAM) has signed an agreement with Cyrus J. Lawrence LLC (CJL), which constitutes the former investment management division of International Strategy & Investment Inc. (ISI). Cyrus J. Lawrence was re-launched in March 2015, following ISI Group's acquisition by publicly held Evercore Partners in October 2014, and will continue to provide consultancy services to AAM for the American Renaissance and European Select Portfolio unit investment trusts (UITs).
"We are confident that our renewed partnership with Cyrus J. Lawrence will build on the predecessor firm's foundation of providing investors with timely and cost-efficient opportunities to take advantage of promising trends in the U.S. and global economy," said Richard Stewart, CFA, Executive Vice President of UITs at AAM. "This agreement is another example of our commitment to teaming up with high-quality managers to ensure investors receive access to innovative investment strategies."
For more than a century, the name Cyrus J. Lawrence has been synonymous with providing outstanding investment advice to institutional and individual investors. The Cyrus J. Lawrence investment process, from research to implementation, is the singular focus of CJL's portfolio managers. CJL's principals combine more than 100 years of investment experience and include legendary strategist James E. Moltz, who is also its Chairman. CJL is led by Chief Executive Officer Bernhard Koepp, who works alongside Senior Managing Directors David Gallacher, Terry Gardner and Bruce Benedict. Additional information about CJL is available at http://www.cjlawrence.com.
"CJL has a tradition dating back to 1864 for providing unique investment perspectives and portfolio strategies for our clients, so we are glad to continue to be part of the AAM network and leverage its exceptional distribution capabilities," said Mr. Koepp. "CJL strives to be the Street's best independent investment boutique, and we are pleased to partner with AAM to bring some of our best ideas to the retail investment community. The American Renaissance and European Select Portfolio UITs are just the beginning, and already fit well into AAM's strong lineup of portfolios based on independent ideas."
Unit Investment Trusts (UITs) are sold only by prospectus. You should consider the trust's investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses carefully before investing. Contact your financial professional or visit Advisors Asset Management online at www.aamlive.com/uit to obtain a prospectus, which contains this and other financial information about the trust. Read it carefully before you invest or send any money. As with any investment, investors may lose money by investing in UITs and the trust may not perform as well as expected. Investing in a UIT is a long-term strategy and investors should consider their ability to invest in successive trusts. Investors also should consult a tax professional regarding the tax implications associated with investing in UITs.
