AAHomecare Looks Forward to Medtrade, Registration Now Open
WASHINGTON, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Association for Homecare is excited to announce that registration is open for Medtrade 2014, on October 20-23 in Atlanta, Georgia. Medtrade is the largest national educational and buying event for the home medical equipment industry, owned and produced by Emerald Expositions.
Medtrade attracts thousands of home medical equipment providers, home health care professionals, and leading manufacturers of home health care products and technology. With almost 550 exhibitors expected, the trade show is the largest annual sourcing opportunity for durable medical equipment and HME products.
"This is a big year for Medtrade," said AAHomecare Chairman Robert Steedley. "With an influx of new exhibitors signing up and bringing new products and fresh perspectives to the show, it is an exciting time to be an attendee. The industry is going through big changes, and it is more important than ever to be involved and be up to date on the latest trends and products."
Medtrade offers educational conference sessions in multiple different tracks, including legislative and regulatory, business operations, and sales and marketing. Over 90 sessions are available for attendees to choose from, based on their business needs. In addition to the trade show and conference, Medtrade attendees can take advantage of numerous networking opportunities and special events such as AAHomecare's Stand Up for Homecare Fundraising Reception.
"The energy going into Medtrade this year is charged and exciting. This is a great opportunity for AAHomecare members who haven't attended in previous years to come meet the new faces in the industry," said Tom Ryan, CEO of AAHomecare. "Medtrade is the perfect venue for education and networking. The Stand Up for Homecare Reception promises to be the networking event of the year for the HME industry."
Early rates are $25 for the expo and $99 for the conference, a significant discount from the full price. Early registration pricing is available through mid-September.
