NEW YORK, March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) industry veteran Aaron Gothelf has joined the American Arbitration Association® (AAA) as Commercial Vice President covering California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Mr. Gothelf is based in San Francisco, and brings more than 15 years of experience in the corporate world, including time spent in the ADR field, to his new role.
"Aaron's in-depth understanding of many different and complex ADR practice areas make him the ideal candidate to lead our coverage for California, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska," said Dwight James, Senior Vice President, AAA Commercial and Construction Divisions. Mr. Gothelf most recently served as Northern California Regional Director for arbitration and mediation services provider Judicate West. In this position, he led the firm's San Francisco and Sacramento offices and managed all business development and general management activities related to its roster of neutral arbitrators and mediators in Northern California. Mr. Gothelf previously worked for Robert Half Legal as Recruiting and Business Development Manager, based first in Washington, D.C. and then in San Francisco.
Mr. Gothelf is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and earned his J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law.
