Three-Year Sales Growth of 2,334%
SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. magazine today ranked A10 Networks, the technology leader in Application Networking, as the #1 Computer Hardware vendor, and #3 for San Jose-based companies, on its 31st annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America's independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500|5000.
"We are proud to be recognized as the leader in Computer Hardware as part of the Inc. 500 for the second consecutive year, marking our overall inclusion in Inc.'s list for three years in a row," said Lee Chen, Founder and CEO for A10 Networks. "The rapid explosion of Internet traffic and connected mobile devices is propelling A10's growth as organizations require highly scalable and flexible solutions to keep pace. A10 continues to innovate in the Application Networking market to address industry requirements, and we are growing rapidly with over 2,000 customers and 450 employees worldwide."
The 2012 Inc. 500, unveiled in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 21 to November 15 and on Inc.com), is the most competitive crop in the list's history. To make the cut, companies had to have achieved a staggering minimum of 770% in sales growth. The Inc. 500's aggregate revenue is $15.7 billion, with a median three-year growth of 1,431 percent. The companies on this year's Inc. 500 employ more than 48,000 people and generated over 40,000 jobs during the past three years.
