A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. Announces Departure of Mr. Shan Lee
SHENYANG, China, Dec. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. (OTC Pink: APWR, "A-Power" or the "Company"), a leading provider of distributed power generation systems in China and a manufacturer of wind turbines, today announced that Mr. Shan Lee resigned as the Interim Chief Operating Officer of A-Power, effective on December 7, 2011.
Mr Lee was appointed as A-Power's Interim Chief Operating Officer on July 7, 2011. He stated that he would not be able to contribute effectively toward the Company's business with the situations that he is operating.
Mr. Jinxiang Lu, A-Power's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Regretfully, we have accepted the resignation of Mr. Lee and understand his concerns and reservations. We thank him for his contributions to the Company and wish him well as he continues his career."
