Sean Kell Steps Down as CEO After Eight Years of Leadership
SEATTLE, April 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- A Place for Mom, Inc. (APFM), the largest senior-living referral service in North America, announced today that Larry Kutscher has joined the Company as chief executive officer and APFM's Board as a director, effective immediately. As APFM's chief executive, he will drive the strategic vision, operations and management of the Company as it continues to build upon its position as an industry leader in providing guidance to families navigating pivotal life decisions around senior care. Kutscher succeeds Sean Kell, who has stepped down from his role as chief executive and will continue to serve as a senior advisor to the Company.

Kutscher is a veteran CEO who successfully led multiple digital, technology and services businesses through significant periods of growth and value creation over the course of his more than 30-year career. Most recently, Kutscher served as CEO of TravelClick, a leading global travel technology and data provider. Under his leadership, TravelClick experienced significant growth, doubling its revenue and earnings through the creation of unique, tech-enabled products. Additionally, Kutscher oversaw five successful acquisitions and transitioned the business to a subscription model.

Larry Kutscher Biography
Kutscher most recently served as chief executive officer of TravelClick, where he drove the Company's overall strategic direction and vision from 2010 through 2018. Kutscher led the creation of a unique suite of technology solutions for TravelClick's 38,000+ hotel customers worldwide, which more than doubled the Company's revenue and earnings during his tenure. Prior to TravelClick, Kutscher served as chief executive officer of Register.com where he evolved the domain name company into a small business services organization with a focus on being the "web department" for small businesses. Prior to joining Register.com, Kutscher served as senior vice president and general manager of the Small Business Group at Dun & Bradstreet, where he helped the Company expand its digital offerings, including the acquisition and development of Hoovers, a leading provider of sales and marketing intelligence. Previously, he was managing director with Goldman Sachs Wealth Management and spent 12 years at American Express. Kutscher earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree in political science from Brown University.
