TORONTO, Nov. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Have yourself a Michael Bublé Christmas! CTV delivers the perfect addition to the holiday season with MICHAEL BUBLÉ'S 3RD ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, premiering Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. Filmed at Vancouver's Red Robinson Show Theatre, the multi-Grammy® and JUNO Award-winning singer delivers some of his most popular songs in an intimate setting, along with some of his favourite guest performers including Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige. The one-hour, star-studded special marks the first of many holiday programs soon to be announced to air this holiday season on CTV.
MICHAEL BUBLÉ'S 3RD ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SPECIAL features incredible duets with Bublé and Grammy® Award-winning singer/songwriters Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige, as they share renditions of holiday classics "All I Want for Christmas is You" and "The Christmas Song", respectively. Bublé also performs some of his favourite songs from his holiday album, Christmas, and is joined by B.C.'s Coastal Sound Children's Choir for a rendition of "Silent Night". Meanwhile, SESAME STREET's beloved Cookie Monster makes appearances throughout the show in comedic skits with the Canadian singer-songwriter. The television special comes hot off Bublé's recent announcement of the Canadian leg of his "To Be Loved" tour and release of his To Be Loved (Christmas Double Pack), and before he rings in the holidays for the first time as a new father.

"I think we've really outdone ourselves for this year's holiday special," said Michael Bublé. "I couldn't have three bigger stars or better voices than Mary J, Mariah and Cookie Monster. We all had a great time and Cookie Monster shared his cookies with all of us."
Michael Bublé's inaugural holiday special debuted in December 2011 on CTV with an impressive 1.6 million viewers. Last year's encore presentation won its timeslot with total viewers and the key A18-34 and A18-49 demos.
