A Message Of Hope And Prayer From The Rose-Coleman Family Regarding The Missouri Duck Boat Disaster
INDIANAPOLIS, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Branson, Missouri duck boat disaster has devastated the Rose-Coleman family. The tragic loss of 17 duck boat passengers, including nine members of our extraordinary family, has left us in complete shock as we struggle to mourn the deaths of three generations of family members ranging in age 1 to 76. This Saturday, we will lay to rest Horace "Butch," Belinda "Toni," Horace's brother, Ervin "Uncle Ray," Angela "Angiee," and Maxwell. Members of the public are welcome at Eastern Star Church (5805 Cooper Road, Indianapolis) from 8 a.m. until noon, and a joint family funeral service will follow. We appreciate the love that you've demonstrated as we mourn those lost and plan to support the survivors.
One of the survivors is 13-year-old Donovan Hall. Donovan lost his mother (Angela), his brother (Maxwell), his grandparents, his uncles, and his cousins. The remaining family members are unified in their support of Donovan and will guide him through his unspeakable loss the best we can.
We want to extend our gratitude for the incredible support – in the form of prayer, condolences, and donations – from close-knit neighborhoods around Indianapolis to total strangers throughout the country. We are truly blessed, especially as we prepare – incredibly – for these tragic burials. You have been most generous with donations, including those to GoFundMe. For those who wish to contribute, they can contribute at https://www.gofundme.com/branson-mo-tragedy-coleman-family.
After we lay our family members to rest, we will continue our journey to fully learn what happened and, most importantly, to do whatever it takes to ensure this is the last duck boat disaster. No family should ever have to endure the unimaginable loss suffered by our family.
Thank you again for your love and your support. Respectfully, we will have no further statement at this time, and appreciate privacy in our time of mourning.
