Analyst Update: Market Leaderships, System Upgrades, and Quarterly Results

U.S. stock markets witnessed a mixed trend on Monday, as the indices pulled back from records reached last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 23.6 points, or 0.1%, to 18116.84. The S&P 500 lost 0.64 point to 2109.66, while the Nasdaq Composite added 5.01 points, or 0.1%, to 4960.97. Falling oil prices and disappointing data on US existing home sales weighed upon the markets. However, European stocks rallied after Greek creditors agreed to extend the nation's bailout funds. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index added 0.7% to 385.08 at the close in London. Asian markets were mostly up on Monday, buoyed by a bailout deal between Greece and the euro zone last week. Japan's key Nikkei 225 index jumped 0.7% and Australia's benchmark S&P ASX 200 index gained 0.5%. Trading volumes remained light with China, Taiwan and Vietnam still closed for the Chinese New Year holiday.

Lantronix, Inc. (Lantronix) announced it Q2 FY 2015 financial results. Net revenue was at $10.7 million versus $11.0 million in Q2 FY 2014 while net loss stood at $632,000 or $0.04 loss per diluted share, compared to net loss of $323,000 or $0.02 loss per diluted share in Q2 FY 2014.
Meru Networks, Inc. (Meru Networks) announced its Q4 2014 and full-year 2014 financial results. Total revenues for the quarter were $21.7 million, down 28% YoY while net loss was reported at $5.2 million or $0.22 loss per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $2.1 million, or $0.09 loss per diluted share in Q4 2014.
QLogic Corporation (QLogic) continues to be the leader by market share in the Fibre Channel adapter business for the 11th consecutive year. As per reports from Dell'Oro Group and Crehan Research, in 2014 QLogic held a total revenue share of 58.4% and 57.7%, respectively, beating its closest competitor by nearly 18 percentage points.
