A Fun New Way to Move Kids into Action! Sbyke USA Rolls Out the Highly Anticipated P-16 Kick-Scooter at Toy Fair 2013!
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents eager to get their kids off the couch rejoiced today when Sbyke USA, LLC announced that the highly anticipated P-16 kick scooter is making its debut spin at Toy Fair 2013 in New York. The sbyke® P-16 rolls all the fun of a bicycle and skateboard into one, yet offers a totally unique experience. That's because its patented rearsteer™ technology makes it an entirely new type of ride.

Kids are drawn to the P-16 for pure fun, but parents recognize the tremendous developmental, health and social benefits sbyke offers their kids. The scooter's unique self-standing design helps kids learn to ride it and cultivate essential balance skills. The handlebars aren't there to steer; they're instead designed to offer stability. The riders need only lean their body weight from side to side to make the scooter glide in the direction they choose. "It provides kids good, clean, active fun that they can enjoy hour after hour with friends and family," said Bart Wilson of Sbyke USA.
The P-16 was designed for kids ages five and up, weighing up to 110 pounds. It's a smaller version of the original sbyke P-20, which is ideal for riders ages 8 through 80 and up to 220 pounds.
The P-20 received numerous awards in 2012 such as Parenting magazine's "Best in Play—Toy Fair;" Dr. Toy's "10 Best Active Products," "Best Green Product" and "100 Best Children's Products;" and International Sporting Goods Trade Fair's (ISPO) "Showcase Winner." Steve Wilson of Sbyke USA commented, "We're honored to receive positive reviews by these renowned experts. However, the best reward of all is seeing the looks of amazement and excitement on the faces of kids and adults as they take sbyke for a spin."
Macaroni Kid, a network of moms across the country who keep their local communities abreast of family-friendly activities, events and products, gave sbyke glowing praise after having young experts review it. After the evaluation, Macaroni Kid provided the unit for a holiday raffle at a New York school. Kiley Sabatino of Macaroni Kid shared, "Bridgehampton School district has about 146 kids in TOTAL, kindergarten through high school, and each and every single child wanted to win the sbyke! It was the hottest item there. There were dinners to the Hamptons' finest restaurants, spa packages, fine art, etc., but the sbyke was saved as best for last and got a huge drumroll from the whole cafeteria."
Toy Fair 2013, which is expected to host 1,000 exhibitors from across the globe, is taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York February 9th through 12th. Sbyke USA will be at booth #5053, which is located in the Outdoor Toys, Play Equipment and Ride-on, Sports zone.
