"A+" for Trump's First Year; Law Prof Predicts a Stellar Second Year as Trump Takes "America First" to Davos' World Economic Forum
WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "President Trump earned an 'A+' grade for his first year and the second year has started off strong," states law professor Victor Williams, Chair and Senior Counsel of America First Lawyers Association.
"Across four categories, President Trump earned the highest possible marks. Donald Trump is proving to be the most disruptive, most successful Chief Executive in generations."
Williams emphasizes that Trump's accomplishment record has been achieved despite direct interference by Obama-era holdovers and outright subversion by Deep State ideologues.
Still, Professor Williams predicts even more Trump success in 2018:
"The American economy has just begun to expand resulting from Trump's regulation cuts and tax reforms. Equally important, Trump's unabashed patriotism and economic optimism is uniting Main Street and Wall Street for the first time in decades."
Williams, who teaches at the University of Maryland School of Law, lists four categories of first-year accomplishments that are sure to pay double dividends in future years:
- Promoting Historic Economic Growth by regulation cuts, tax reforms, and a positive pro-business and pro-job message;
- Rebranding Law & Order as a Civil Right by supporting police officers, deporting illegal aliens with a focus on repeat criminals/visa overstays, marshalling resources against MS13 gangs, and making strategic judicial appointments to trial and appellate benches including SCOTUS;
- Putting America First in Trade and Immigration Matters while fighting both leftist Democrats and establishment Republicans. Trump battles for fair trade agreements, merit-based immigration systems, ending chain migration, liberating sanctuary cities, and securing a border wall;
- Initiating Transformative Foreign Policy and National Security Reforms including defeating ISIS on critical war fronts, instituting travel freezes (bans) from terrorist nations, withdrawing from the Paris climate ruse, and reaffirming America's eternal bond with Israel including moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
Williams notes that even as Trump headlines at the Davos World Economic Forum, the President is doubling-down on America First policies:
"Whether at home or abroad, Trump tirelessly fights for American security, for American job growth, and for restoring the American dream to all our citizens."
Victor Williams is Chair and Senior Counsel of America First Lawyers Association: Lawyers and Law Professors for Trump. He was an early and disruptive 2016 campaign supporter of candidate Donald Trump. Prior to the University of Maryland, Professor Williams held fulltime appointments at Catholic University Law School, American University Washington College of the Law, and CUNY's John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is often called "Victor '4Trump' Williams."
