A Classic Homes Southern Wedding

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Under a canopy of live oaks and amid family and friends, Emily Berger and Jeremy Caldwell exchanged vows on October 1, 2017 in what has been described as one of the South's most beautiful weddings.

While all weddings have the makings of a fairy tale, that of Emily and Jeremy's was magical from the start. From dozens of couples that dreamed of a destination wedding in South Carolina's lowcountry, Emily and Jeremy were selected for a rare opportunity to be married at a Southern Living Custom Builder Program Showcase Home.

Nestled among the oaks of Litchfield Plantation, and situated on a nature preserve, the River Run, the beautiful home built by Classic Homes of Myrtle Beach, was the perfect locale.  "There's no better way to christen a home than with love," said Susan White, of Classic. "And there's no stronger love than that between a bride and her groom.  We're so proud to be part of such a special occasion," she continued.

Making the wedding even more special were the wedding professionals who gave their time and talent to make the dream a reality.  "Everyone worked together to honor Emily and Jeremy," said wedding consultant, Cheryl Cox, who has more than 38 years' experience and has planned hundreds of weddings. "I can only describe these vendors as the dream team," she said.
