Analyst Update: New & Extended Offerings, Appointment, and Financial Results

The US stock markets mostly closed lower on Wednesday despite progress in Greece negotiations and dovish Fed minutes. Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 17.85 points, or 0.10%, at 18,029.85; S&P 500 closed down 0.68 points, or 0.03%, at 2,099.66; Nasdaq closed up 7.10 points, or 0.14%, at 4,906.36. European stocks ended mostly higher and rose to seven-year high amid Greek deal prospects, as Greece is expected to submit a loan request on Thursday to extend a loan agreement for up to six months. The FTSEuroFirst 300 index rose 0.7% to a fresh seven-year high of 1,515.90. On the other hand, most Asian stocks advanced on Wednesday due to investor optimism ahead of a European Central Bank meeting on bailout conditions for Greece, though many markets of the region were shut for the Lunar New Year.
Allot Communications Ltd. (Allot) introduced Allot Cloud Access Optimization Solution (ACAOS) for enterprises and cloud managed service providers, ensuring high user quality of experience (QoE) and productivity by visualizing, controlling and securing applications. Built on the ACAOS, the Company also released ACAOS for Office 365 that supports visibility and control for individual Office 365 applications such as Lync, PowerPoint, and Word.
B.O.S. Better Online Solutions (B.O.S. Better) announced the appointment of Mr. Yossef Lahad as the Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, effective January 26, 2015. Mr. Lahad has extensive experience in restructuring processes and strategic alliances, and he has been on the Company's Board since April 13, 2014.
Black Box Corporation (Black Box) reported revenues of $253.3 million, up 6% YoY during third quarter of Fiscal 2015, driven by strength in both Products and Services segments. Net income decreased to $5.3 million or $0.34 per diluted share, from $6.7 million or $0.42 per diluted share in the same period last year. Gross profit improved to $76.8 million in Q3 2015 from $73.8 million in Q3 2014.
Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Brocade) unveiled the industry's first native port-based encryption functionality for modular routers that delivers encryption embedded in-line with the I/O ports. The new offering enables customers to avoid the significant performance loss, operational complexity, and prohibitive cost associated with services blades or external appliances used for encryption.
Cisco Systems, Inc. (Cisco) has extended its open standards approach to Software Defined Networking (SDN), complementing its open Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) approach and extending standards-based interoperability for its Nexus 9000 Series switches with support for the IETF standard Border Gateway Protocol - Ethernet Virtual Private Network (BGP EVPN) protocol for overlay networks.
