96 Delegates From 20 Countries Attend International Finance Magazine Award Ceremony in Dubai

More than 96 delegates including 45 CXOs from over 35 finance industry players across 20 countries attended the 2013 Annual Awards ceremony of the London based International Finance Magazine (IFM). Banks, insurance companies and brokerages from over 57 countries across the globe were felicitated at the glittering function held on December 18, 2013 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai.

The magazine, with a readership spread across 200 countries worldwide, plans to hold another Business Summit and Awards function in Doha, Qatar towards the second half of 2014.

IFM is also planning to launch its print edition within the next few months. With this aim in view, it has appointed veteran business and financial journalist Arjun Sen as Editor to head its editorial and content team. He is replacing outgoing Editor Christopher Atkinson.

Apart from working as a business journalist, Arjun has also worn many other hats during his three decade-long career. He has served as an economist and researcher for Indian Chamber of Commerce, one of India's largest business and industrial lobbies and as Head of Communication and Publishing at the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME).  

Moreover, having served as Executive Editor and Chief Operating Officer of an information technology magazine Cyber Yug, Arjun is also up to speed with the fast changing world of technology. In between, he has also been Visiting Faculty teaching editing and reporting at Jadavpur University, recognised by the Government of India as one of the five centres of excellence in education in the country.
