2012 International Compliance and Ethics Award Recipients: The Defense Industry Initiative, Office of Fair Trading, Kendra Dimond Campbell, and Lewis Morris
MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Defense Industry Initiative, Office of Fair Trading, Kendra Dimond Campbell, and Lewis Morris – two organizations and two individuals who champion and enrich the compliance and ethics profession – were honored by The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) during the 2012 International Compliance and Ethics Awards Dinner held October 15, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event, which occurs each year during the SCCE's Compliance and Ethics Institute, honors organizations and individuals that advocate for and foster the compliance and ethics profession.
These awards recognize the recipients' dedication to advance the compliance and ethics profession, and celebrate their unwavering commitment to the profession. This marks the eighth year these awards have been presented by the SCCE.
2012 International Compliance and Ethics Award Recipients
Last night hundreds of compliance and ethics professionals from across the globe turned out to honor the following award recipients :
--The Defense Industry Initiative, a nonpartisan, non-profit association of responsible U.S. defense companies committed to conducting business affairs at the highest ethical level and in full compliance with the law.
--Office of Fair Trading, United Kingdom (UK), as an independent professional organization, the OFT plays a leading role in promoting and protecting consumer interests throughout the UK, while ensuring that businesses are fair and competitive.
--Kendra Dimond Campbell (1947-2012), CHRC, Vice Chair of the Institutional Review Board and Research Consultant, University of Central Florida.
--Lewis Morris, JD, Counsel, Adelman, Sheff & Smith, LLC; former OIG Chief Counsel, Department of Health and Human Services.
