802 Secure Receives $6M Investment For Wireless IoT Defense, Mike Raggo Joins Team As Chief Security Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, April 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 802 Secure, Inc has an investment of $6M to further develop its two core products: AirShield (Internet of Things defense platform) and P25CleanRF (proactive 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring solution for First Responders). 802 Secure is a leader in the IoT wireless defense markets having developed a proactive defense-in-depth approach. Through its patent-pending technology, 802 Secure safely and non-intrusively scans an enterprise's air space, giving security personnel comprehensive visibility into every RF-emitting device on premise. As a result, companies can accurately quantify risk and mitigate threats. The funding follows on the heels of 802 Secure being awarded Start Up of the Year (2015), Company of the Year (2016) and most recently CEO of the Year (2017).
