In 2015 cartoonists who participate in the PCE (Press Cartoon Europe) competition will again be eligible for great cash prizes. All cartoons that have appeared in printed or digital media in the course of 2014 in any European country are eligible. In the six previous competitions, with hundreds of illustrators throughout Europe submitting their work, the following cartoonists won first prize: Riber from Sweden, 2009; Burkhard Mohr from Germany, 2010; Karl from Belgium, 2011; Jos Collignon from the Netherlands, 2012; Michel Cambon from France, 2013; and most recently Rodrigo de Maros from Portugal, 2014.
- This year PCE is once again offering € 8,000 in cash for the Grand Prix; a second and a third prize of € 1,000 each will also be awarded. The 2015 PCE competition is only for cartoons published during 2014. Illustrators are invited to submit a maximum of three entries, before the deadline of 1 January 2015, to http://www.presscartoon.com/submission. Only cartoons sent in via this website will be entered in the competition.
