66th BetterInvesting National Convention, May 18-21 in Cincinnati, Focuses on Common-Sense Investment Education on Stocks, Portfolio Management and More

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nonprofit organization BetterInvesting's dedicated volunteers will teach Main Street investors how to secure their financial futures at the 66th annual BetterInvesting National Convention May 18-21 at the historic Hilton Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati.

"This year we'll have a keynote speech and several sessions dedicated to dividends and income investing, along with panel discussions and classes on finding quality growth stocks selling at reasonable prices. Charles Carlson, CFA, CEO of Horizon Investment Services and author of The Little Book of Big Dividends, will provide the keynote address on Saturday, May 20, titled "Big Safe Dividends: Strategies for Dividend Investing." From Thursday through Sunday, the convention will offer more than 60 sessions on a variety of investing topics for investors of all experience levels. These include classes on stocks in particular industries, portfolio management, estate planning, studying financial statements, and options and exchange-traded funds. A beginners track also is offered.

On May 20, the public is invited to attend a free day of investment education.
