5WPR Hires Olga Shmuklyer as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- 5W Public Relations, one of the 15 largest independent PR firms in the US announced today that it has hired Olga Shmuklyer as Senior Vice President to work in the firm's rapidly expanding Corporate and Public Affairs practice.

As Senior Vice President, Corporate and Public Affairs practice at 5W Public Relations, Ms. Shmuklyer will direct communication and media management efforts for a host of corporate, political, advocacy and policy groups and individuals in national and international arenas. In this role she will craft and implement programs to build desired perception for her clients through high level media relations and issue management campaigns, new product/service launches and executive visibility programs.

Prior to joining 5W Ms. Shmuklyer was Vice President at Rubenstein Public Relations where she developed strategy and implemented and managed comprehensive PR campaigns. She has also held positions with Hill and Knowlton, and previous client experience includes Akamai Technologies, Charles Schwab, Motorola, PanAmSat, Time Warner Cable and Trump SoHo Hotel and Condominium.
