NEW YORK, May 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- 5WPR, the New York-based full-service public relations agency, announced today first quarter growth of 20 percent (Q1 2013 over Q1 2012). The firm is projecting $17 Million in revenue in 2013. With industry heavy-weight clients including Welch's Fruit Snacks, Krups, Cold-EEZE and more, 5W is steadfastly holding its place as one of the industry's leading privately owned public relations agencies.

The year-over-year increase marks 5W's eleventh consecutive year of growth. The increase is primarily driven by 5W's consumer facing business, as well as significant success in technology and health & beauty. With further development of their digital media and public affairs practices already underway in 2013, the agency is also exploring areas where geographic expansion makes sense.

The agency's growth has led to an increase in business and employee headcount – now at over 110 employees. With a 25 percent increase in staff year-over-year, 5W moved today to a new 38,000 square foot office located at 1166 Avenue of the Americas, 4^th floor, in the heart of mid-town Manhattan.
