MANCHESTER, England, August 26, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Betfred offer 5/1 that two English clubs will contest the 2010-11 Champions League final at Wembley following today's draw for the group stage.
While Barcelona were cut to 5/2 favourites to repeat their 1992 Wembley victory, Spanish rivals Real Madrid were eased to 11/2 after finding themselves in the 'group of death' and are now joint second favourites with Chelsea.
Manchester United won the first of their three European Cups at Wembley in 1968 and have been trimmed to 7/1 after being grouped with Valencia, competition newcomers Bursaspor and, in a 'Battle of Britain', the Scottish champions Rangers.
Arsenal are in to 12/1 after receiving a favourable draw, while North London rivals Tottenham are 33/1 ahead of matches against holders Inter Milan, Werder Bremen and Twente.
Betfred spokesman Jon Wilde said: "All the English clubs may be happy to have avoided Real Madrid, whose coach Jose Mourinho faces a tough start in his bid to win the trophy for the third time against AC Milan, Ajax and Auxerre.
"Arsenal could enjoy the easiest passage to the last 16, but United and Chelsea will be pleased with their draws and an all-English final, like there was in 2008, looks a distinct possibility."
