500.com Announces Closing of Private Placement
SHENZHEN, China, June 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 500.com Limited (NYSE: WBAI) ("500.com" or the "Company"), a leading online sports lottery service provider in China, today announced the closing of its previously announced sale of newly issued ordinary shares to Tsinghua Unigroup International Co., Ltd. ("Tsinghua Unigroup"), a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup Co., Ltd.
The Company issued 63,500,500 Class A ordinary shares at a price of US$1.95 per share (corresponding to US$19.5 per American Depositary Receipt), for gross proceeds of approximately US$123.8 million. The Class A ordinary shares issued are subject to a six-month lock-up period.
