National School Choice Week event to feature Mike Gallagher, Dick Morris, and Pastor Levon Yuille of Joshua's Trail as speakers
DETROIT, Jan. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 500 people will discuss the need to improve education in Detroit and across the country, at a special event on January 18, 2011. The Education Revolution Town Hall, hosted by News Talk 1400 AM WDTK, in conjunction with National School Choice Week, will begin at 7 pm at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Nationally recognized analysts Mike Gallagher, Dick Morris, and Pastor Levon Yuille of Joshua's Trail are confirmed as speakers at the event.
National School Choice Week, January 23-29, 2011, will shine an unprecedented spotlight on the need to dramatically improve educational outcomes for children and will highlight the benefits of school choice programs. Tens of thousands of people are expected to participate in events across the country during the week, which is being organized by more than 150 national and state groups.
