48 Factoring Inc. Appoints New Board Member

WAYNE, Pa., Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- 48 Factoring Inc. today announced that Michael P. McNulty, entrepreneur and executive was appointed to the company's board of directors.

"Mike's experiences as a serial founder and executive of several start-ups is the perfect complement to 48 Factoring's Board of Directors skill set," said 48 Factoring chairman Robert S. Goggin. "Michael's numerous successes evidence his keen insights and strategic expertise in managing and growing early to mid-stage companies like ours."

McNulty is a repeat entrepreneur who has founded and shepherded numerous companies from their infancies into success stories. He most recently founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Movitas LLC, a mobile platform company acquired by Allin Interactive Corp in November 2013. Prior to that, Mr. McNulty co-founded Verticalnet, Inc. a technology firm that provided supply management software and created industry specific "vertical" marketplaces. In that role, he helped lead the company to one of the most successful IPOs in NASDAQ history as it quickly grew to nearly 2,000 employees. During his tenure at VerticalNet, Mike was honored as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Philadelphia Region. He was also named to the "Folio 40" as one of the publishing industry's most influential leaders and innovators.

Mr. McNulty received a B.S. from Saint Joseph's University in 1985, served on the school's Board of Trustees from 2000 through 2008, and is a member of the University's "Business Hall of Fame".
