48 Factoring Inc. Adds New Board Member

Todd K. Snyder, private fund manager and venture capital expert, to join board.

WAYNE, Pa., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- 48 Factoring Inc. today announced that Todd K. Snyder, venture capitalist and founder of GSI Funds, LLC., was appointed to the company's board of directors.

"Todd has extraordinary breadth and depth of experience with early stage private companies and investment funds, and we are delighted that he is joining 48 Factoring's board of directors," said 48 Factoring Chairman Robert S. Goggin. Snyder currently serves as the co-founder and principal of GSI Funds, LLC, the general partner that manages the GSI Absolute Return Fund, L.P. fund of hedge funds. Mr. Snyder has co-managed the Fund from its inception in 2008 through the present.

Previously, Mr. Snyder held a number of leadership positions that gained him valuable insights and experience in the fields of finance, venture capital, real estate and law. Mr. Snyder also was responsible for generating investment opportunities at Winfield Capital Corp a publicly-traded SBIC listed on NASDAQ that invested in mid-stage and early-stage private companies, where during his tenure Winfield Common stock rose from $1.50 to $60.00 over the course of just three years.

Mr. Snyder received a Master's in Taxation degree from Emory University in 1986, a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University with honors in 1983, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with summa cum laude honors from Tulane University in 1980.
