MONTREAL, July 9, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - On the eve of the Opening Ceremony of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, 45 DEGREES, is putting the final touches on one of the greatest Cirque du Soleil events it has produced to date. This will be the first opening ceremony entirely created and produced by the organization that also recently delivered Joyà, Cirque du Soleil's first permanent diner show in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
This summer, 45 DEGREES continues to reach new heights as it delivers some of the world's most prestigious events and projects. The company launched ALLAVITA! an outdoor show highlighting the unique theme of "Feeding the Planet" for the Milan 2015 Universal Expo. It also delivered Scalada: Storia in Andorra, an Andorran government initiative, as well as Creactive, the first circus-inspired playscape, produced for Club Med in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
"We are very proud of the 45 DEGREES team. Under the direction of Yasmine Khalil, they have delivered remarkable events worldwide and continue to establish their presence by rivaling the best event companies in the industry. They are quickly becoming a reference on the world stage," declared Daniel Lamarre, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cirque du Soleil.
45 DEGREES is currently working on the first Cirque du Soleil water fountain show where technology and light take center-stage. This unique project will be unveiled in Europe early next year. Also, other exciting major international projects are currently in the works and will be revealed shortly.
