3Pillar Global Forms Advanced Technology Group in Response to Increasing Client Demand for Strategic Guidance, Collaboration and Technical Mentorship
Appoints engineering expert Marius Banici to lead team dedicated to driving a culture of technical excellence
FAIRFAX, Va., April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 3Pillar Global, a leading developer of innovative, revenue-generating software products, today announced that it has established an Advanced Technology Group (ATG). The group, which will be led by Senior Director Marius Banici, was formed to address the increasing client demand for guidance and technical mentorship around creating a culture of innovation.
"Establishing an innovative culture doesn't happen overnight or when an executive team decides it's time to be 'more innovative.' It takes a combination of R&D, dedicated resources, and expert insights," said David DeWolf, President and CEO of 3Pillar Global. "Our Advanced Technology Group was designed to address these needs and further strengthen our ability to collaborate with our clients to ensure they remain on the bleeding edge of technological innovation."
In his role as Sr. Director of the Advanced Technology Group, Banici's team will be responsible for finding innovative ways to use technology to solve real-world problems and constantly stay abreast of the latest emerging technologies.
Banici has supported software engineering efforts out of 3Pillar's Romania offices since 2012. Prior to that, he served as a manager at Continental Automotive systems for six years, leading the development of software solutions using agile development methodologies and applying SCRUM. Banici earned a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Craiova.
"The formation of the Advanced Technology Group further illustrates 3Pillar's dedication to working with its clients to develop timely, revenue-generating products," said Banici. "I am excited to lead this team of proven experts to help spread 3Pillar's culture of technical expertise to our clients and the product development community at large."
Earlier this year, 3Pillar conducted a study with the University of Maryland's Center for Excellence in Service to establish the industry's first index for product development success. The study identified six critical components to successful product development, with culture being the most influential. The research revealed that employees must truly believe that their contributions are valued at the organization and feel as though they have room to grow.
