Announced today at a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Nashville's Mayor Karl Dean and leaders from the Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Technology Council, 365 Data Centers' Tech Hub will provide free colocation services including space, power and Internet connectivity for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
365 Data Centers is an investor in Partnership 2020, the Nashville Area Chamber's economic development initiative responsible for the creation of jobs and capital investments to drive local business expansions and relocations to the area. 365's Nashville Tech Hub will support P2020's goals by providing entrepreneurs and businesses with free data center colocation, power and Internet services each year at 365's expense and by providing services to other local organizations at a reduced cost. To support the initiative, 365 is partnering with local civic and business leaders, including Matt Wiltshire, Director of the Mayor's Office of Economic and Community Development; Bryan Huddleston, CEO of the Nashville Technology Council; and Judith Hill, Vice President, Business Retention and Expansion of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony today, 365 will showcase the facility's new Tech Hub, upgraded N+1 parallel redundancy power and cooling systems and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) capabilities at what is the only HIPAA and SSAE 16 compliant colocation facility located in downtown Nashville. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST at 365 Data Centers' Nashville facility located at 147 4th Avenue North, 8th Floor, Nashville, with an open-house and data center tours to follow.
