300 North Capital Strengthens Institutional Distribution Capabilities
PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- 300 North Capital, LLC, an institutional investment manager specializing in long-only small cap, SMID cap, and mid cap U.S. growth equity, and alternative strategies, and an affiliate of Old Mutual Asset Management, has named Brown Windle and Christopher Vassilopoulos as Senior Vice Presidents for Institutional Sales. The appointments reflect 300 North Capital's strategic plan to grow its domestic distribution capabilities to augment its successful investment strategy development.
Mr. Windle and Mr. Vassilopoulos, who have over 40 years of combined investment experience, will use their extensive network in the institutional investor community to help 300 North Capital grow its institutional market share for its long-only and alternative strategies. Mr. Windle will oversee West Coast sales and Mr. Vassilopoulos will oversee East Coast sales.

Mr. Windle joins 300 North Capital with over 20 years of experience in developing distribution networks and spearheading significant asset growth for institutional asset managers. His background also includes institutional sales roles at Citbank and Waddell and Reed. Mr. Windle holds an MBA from Drury University and a BA from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Vassilopoulos was previously a principal at Endex Capital Management, where he helped build the firm's plan sponsor and consultant network. Mr. Vassilopoulos also served in a variety of senior-level sales and marketing roles at Pioneer Institutional Asset Management and Mellon Trust (now BNY Mellon). Mr. Vassilopoulos holds an MS and BA from Boston College.
