ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Bloomberg BNA today announced that it has appointed Linda Kaufman, Alex Butler, and Baker Evans to leadership positions reporting to David Perla, President of Bloomberg Law and the company's Legal Division. Kaufman is Vice President of Client Success, Butler serves as Vice President and General Manager of IP, Privacy & Data Security, and Tech & Telecom and Evans is the company's Vice President and General Manager of Corporate & Transactions.

Kaufman leads a team that is responsible for all aspects of the Legal Division's account management including client lifecycle management and supporting client success, retention and growth. She spent over 18 years at Thomson Reuters, where she served in senior sales and account management positions. In her most recent role Kaufman directed a team of over 200 sales and account management professionals focused on the law firm market.
Butler's organization is responsible for developing a wide range of content that explores the intersections of intellectual property, technology, telecommunications, law and commerce. Prior to joining the company, he served on the leadership teams of international software and service providers delivering growth strategies through improved innovation and IP management to corporate executives and investors. He also served in senior positions within Thomson Reuters' IP & Science business and Information Holdings Inc.'s IP management division.
Evans's unit focuses on developing content and workflow solutions in the areas of corporate and transactional law, capital markets, banking, securities, antitrust, and international trade. Prior to joining Bloomberg BNA, he served in executive roles across multiple sectors in digital information and software organizations, including seven years with Reed Elsevier/LexisNexis and a dozen years at Thomson Reuters. At both companies, he held global leadership roles in product strategy and business development.
Kaufman has a B.S. in Communications from Clarion University and a JD from New England Law.
Butler has a B.A. from the School of International Service of The American University in Washington, D.C., and an MBA from Villanova University.
Evans holds a B.S from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park and an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland.
