ST. LOUIS Mo., Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- St. Louis-based 2e Group, the parent company of 2e Creative, an internationally recognized full-service agency with a portfolio of global life science clients, today announced the acquisition of Fire & Rain, an independent field force training, leadership development, and meetings and events consultancy based in Evansville, Indiana. The move follows a year-long, joint operations collaborative partnership.
2e Group CEO Ross Toohey says the expanded capabilities will fuel a "next-generation launch and growth engine" designed to align with the evolving needs and preferences of pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
"Our firms have enjoyed a deep personal and professional relationship that spans more than a decade. This acquisition is simply the next logical step in delivering a powerful launch and growth solution to clients at a time when they need it most," said Toohey. "2e Creative's award-winning expertise in building and growing brands now flows seamlessly with Fire & Rain's expertise in driving excellence in field sales teams and commercial leadership. Together, and under the 2e Group umbrella, the organization will harness and integrate a broad range of shared services across a common delivery platform.
"Our focus will be forward-thinking companies that are looking for a partner that offers the agility, authenticity, aggressive thinking and efficiency of a bespoke independent agency, and the expertise, reach and horsepower of traditional large healthcare firms," Toohey said. "We're perfectly aligned with the needs of modern life science marketers."
2e Group will drive the launch and growth engine, fueled by more than 120 employees providing upstream consulting, analytics, commercial and promotional support, training, management consulting, organizational communications, and digital strategy and activation to Fortune 500 companies like Novartis, Genentech, Sanofi, and many other cutting-edge life science companies.
"We can now help clients commercialize, launch and support therapies more efficiently and effectively than currently possible by either traditional networks or boutique agencies," Toohey said. "Our mission to connect people with therapies and technologies that support healthier, happier lives is running strong."
Toohey added that other partnerships, acquisitions and services are being considered to add to 2e Group's already robust value chain.
Along with the acquisition of Fire & Rain, the company announced several leadership changes.
