25 Year Technology Veteran Eric Raab Joins Yodle as Chief Information Officer
NEW YORK, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yodle, a leader in local online marketing, today announced that Eric Raab has been hired as Chief Information Officer and will join its executive management team. In addition to supporting product development, Mr. Raab will lead initiatives that further scale Yodle's business while also building out the company's rapidly growing technology team. Mr. Raab brings over 25 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, software, and networks.

Mr. Raab has a proven track record in taking technology products from concept to marketplace, and expanding technology teams. Mr. Raab was most recently Chief Technology Officer at M5 Networks, acquired by Shoretel (NASDAQ: SHOR). During his three years with the company, Mr. Raab built out the infrastructure for a hosted VoIP and data product that services thousands of business customers.
Prior to that, Mr. Raab was Chief Technology Officer at Toktumi, a start-up VoIP company with an SMB customer base. Mr. Raab's operational efforts helped the company grow by more than 2000% in less than a year. Other notable positions that he has held include CEO of AIG Telecom, the first established trading desk for wholesale telephone minutes, and CTO at IDT Corporation and Epana Networks, which are both telecommunications carriers. Mr. Raab received a BA in Physics and Mathematics from Columbia University, and a PhD in Atomic and Molecular Physics from MIT.
