2019 Miss El Tiempo Nevada And Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada To Be Crowned Aug. 4 In Official Preliminary To Miss Nevada USA
LAS VEGAS, July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- El Tiempo, Southern Nevada's largest Hispanic publication, will crown the 2019 Miss El Tiempo Nevada and Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. at Sam's Town Live! Theater located at Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall at 5111 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV. Close to 20 women identifying as Latina will compete in the pageant, which is an official preliminary to the upcoming Miss Nevada USA and Miss Teen Nevada USA pageants. In addition, both winners will go on to represent Miss El Tiempo in the coming year throughout Las Vegas.
The 2019 Miss El Tiempo Nevada pageant is hosted by International Cuban singer and songwriter Noybel Gorgoy. Contestants will compete in interview, evening gown and swimsuit (fitness for teen contestants). The 2019 Miss El Tiempo is produced and directed by Robert Danielson, with choreography by Rebecca Kernes, and is presented in English to comply with Miss USA/Miss Universe organization rules.
Special guests at this year's pageant include the reigning Miss Nevada USA 2018, Carolina Urrea, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Miss Teen Nevada USA 2018, Britney Barnhart of Summerlin, Nevada. Also, making appearances will be Miss El Tiempo Nevada 2018, Diana Cervantes-Adams and Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada 2018, Catherine Mosquera.
The 2019 Miss El Tiempo Nevada contestants include Miranda Contreras, 21 from North Las Vegas; Lili Equihua, 26 from Henderson; and Kaelyn Crede, 27 and Guadalupe Esobedo, 18, both from Las Vegas.
The Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada contestants from Las Vegas include Gizelle Rodriguez, 16; Stephanie Huerta, 17; Beyonce Romero, 14; Victoria Amen, 17; Adriana Fuentes, 16; and Alondra Senior, 15. Contestants from North Las Vegas include Noelani Mendoza, 14; and Danna Calvario, 15.
The judges for this year's pageant include Peter Guzman, president of the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce; Jaclyn Raulerson Dicks, Miss Florida 2010; Maggie Arias-Petrel, president and CEO of Professional Consulting, Inc.; Ricardo Laguna, BMX Superstar; and, Santiago Michel, star of Ilusion Mental.
