2019 Board of Directors Announced by SCSI Trade Association as SAS Remains the Dominant Storage Interconnect Technology for Data Centers
Cameron T. Brett, Director, Outbound Marketing and Communications at Toshiba American Electronic Components Elected as New STA President
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- As a globally recognized and trusted authority on Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology used in data storage interconnects, the SCSI Trade Association (STA), today announced its 2019 Board of Directors. The veteran group of technology leaders has been elected to serve as a one-year term to develop strategic marketing programs that educate its members and the storage industry at large on the value and continued wide adoption of SAS in the marketplace.
Cameron T. Brett, Director, Outbound Marketing and Communications, Toshiba Memory America, Inc., was elected as the new STA president, taking on the role previously held by Rick Kutcipal of Broadcom. Kutcipal remains as a vital part of the board as a director-at-large. All other positions remain the same as the 2018 roster.
