LONDON, March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Opinion is a big factor when it comes to a long term purchase. We often use a survey to help us decide what to buy or what to book for instance. In the UK there is a thriving market for boilers and this has remained pretty constant for a few years now. With this market which is in excess of 1.5 million boilers sold per year and is the biggest boiler market in Europe, there is obviously quite a few boiler manufacturers vying for the share.
As a result Mr. Central Heating compiled the Great British Boiler Survey, since many questions arose from a market dominated by brands with commercial support, do they actually give value for money? Are the brands with the best marketing campaigns the best options to go for? We asked a wide range of tradesmen and home users about domestic boilers overall, including several key brands such as Baxi, Glow-worm, Ideal, Potterton, Vaillant, Vokera and Worcester Bosch.
The main requirement for domestic users and tradesmen alike was simple. In most cases people just want a good boiler that is going to last many years (and in some cases there were responses of users being happy with their boilers over several decades), does not go wrong and does not break the bank. Unfortunately, with long term products like this, many boilers are replaced due to a lack of research the first time around, and so hopefully this can help people find out what the best boiler for their situation is, as every case is slightly different.
This survey aims to capture a cross section of the UK boiler market and offers a comprehensive look at some of the top boiler brands available for sale at Mr. Central Heating.
