NEW YORK, April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity will be unveiled at an all-day event including learning sessions, speeches by diversity luminaries, and an awards dinner in New York City on April 19.
Find out the names of the nation's top companies when it comes to hiring, retaining and promoting women, minorities, people with disabilities, LGBT, and veterans.

Executives from more than 150 companies will be on hand at DiversityInc's premier diversity gathering, as well as civil rights icons Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr., and Morris Dees. Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, will be the keynote speaker for the evening dinner. The night will conclude with after-party entertainment by Kool & the Gang.
The dinner will be preceded by a networking event for executives from the most diversity-conscious companies in America.
DiversityInc is also hosting best practices learning sessions where executives from major corporations will share how they make diversity work in their workplaces. Speakers will also include thought leaders focused on diversity issues, including George C. Halvorson, CEO of the Institute for InterGroup Understanding and former CEO of Kaiser Permanente, who will provide the lunch keynote.
