2014 GMC Yukon brings top shelf capabilities

Base trims like the SLE and SLT will have a 5.3-liter, V-8 engine powering the vehicle that is capable of putting out a maximum of 320 horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque. That standard drivetrain set involves a six-speed transmission paired with rear-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case with low gear for getting through mud, sand, etc. The top trim, Denali, brings a larger V-8 engine to the table with more than 400 horsepower and manual shift automatic transmission.

For a vehicle of this size, it is going to surprise first time drivers with how nimble and smooth it is while on the highway. Either engine choice has enough power behind it to accelerate the 2014 GMC Yukon up to highway speed; once there, the suspension system makes short work of any road imperfections that may cause a rough riding experience.  Seating options are customizable with a choice of a pair of captain's chairs or a bench seat for the second row. Cargo room is plentiful in the new 2014 Yukon with both rows have been stored properly.
