2014 Cadillac XTS offers improved performance

One of the most exciting additions to the 2014 Cadillac XTS is the available additions of twin-turbochargers on the 3.6-liter, V-6 engine that will be pushing out 410 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This option is available on the Premium and Platinum V-sport trims of the new 2014 XTS. These trims with this engine option come with all-wheel drive only and are attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. Base models of the new XTS use a naturally aspirated version of the same V-6 engine that still breaks the 300-horsepower mark. Powertrains without turbochargers can have either front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. Front drive models of the XTS have an Environmental Protection Agency fuel-economy rating of 17 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. All-wheel drive versions drop a point or two in the category.

Like most of its luxury sedan brethren, the 2014 Cadillac XTS comes with an infotainment system that combines the control of the navigation and entertainment systems. The Cadillac CUE system uses the same kind of feedback on its touchscreen that is very common on modern smartphones.
