University of Pennsylvania's Out-of-School Time Resource Center (OSTRC)

Nearly 500 stakeholders focusing on practice, policy and resources to build and sustain accessible quality out-of-school opportunities that support youth's growth and development.

WHY: 

Afterschool programs pick up where the school day leaves off. In addition to offering kids a safe, supervised place to go before and after school, on weekends and during summers to get academic help, programs provide a variety of activities that help youth develop new interests and skills.
